The Technique
In this hybrid process, the tactile and the virtual come together to create a dynamic interplay of elements, blurring the lines between the tangible and the digital. Step into the rhythmic world of my Ocean Art Series, where the timeless beauty of the ocean takes center stage. Inspired by the ever-changing nature of the sea, each piece in this collection is a heartfelt tribute to the ebb and flow of life’s tides.
My Inspiration
My journey into capturing the essence of waves began with a deep connection to the ocean itself. I was captivated by the way waves can be gentle caresses one moment and fierce declarations of power the next. It’s a reminder that life, too, has its gentle moments and powerful surges, and I sought to convey this profound connection through my art. Beyond the beauty of the waves, this series carries a deeper message – a reminder of the harmony that can be found in embracing life’s constant changes. Just as waves return to the shore with unwavering persistence, we too can find solace in flow of our own journeys.
The Technique
With every brushstroke, I aimed to immortalize the ocean’s ever-changing movement with heavy impasto acrylics, gels and actual sand. I also use resin medium techniques for some pieces in this series.
